Doc Danger and the Danger Squad

The enigmatic detective known only as The Lady in Black! The stakes are high as these formidable and beautiful heroines are faced with the reality-warping genius of Professor Z, who threatens to un-make the entire universe.
Join us for the fully staged premiere of this
new musical from Jason Powell, the creator of
Fortuna the Time Bender vs. the Schoolgirls of Doom!

Studio Theatre at the Broadway Theatre Center
158 N Broadway, Milwaukee
Music by John Glover, Words by Kelley Rourke
Featuring Baritone Andrew Wilkowske
“The point isn’t to win,” according to Nash, a key character in Dana Spiotta’s award-winning Eat the Document. A radical remnant of the 70s who now presides over an anarchist bookstore, Nash draws the disaffected youth of the 1990s into a shifting series of “collectives.”
In this musical response to Spiotta’s novel, the team behind “Guns ‘n Rosenkavalier” and “Lucy” explores the two eras – their language, technology, music and activism.
With special guest Dana Spiotta.
