Thank you for a great season!
Created by Tim Rebers, Brian Rott, Jeffrey Mosser, Anja Notanja Sieger and Jill Anna Ponasik
Some operas are so challenging, they’re considered practically impossible.
With our friends at Quasimondo Physical Theatre, we’re going to present seven of them…in a row.

Magnificent Bird
May 31 & June 1, 2023 - 7:30 PM
Jan Serr Studio 2155 N Prospect Ave, 53202 We join forces with Present Music to co-present composer/singer/songwriter and multi-genre phenom
Gabriel Kahane as he performs a live version of his introspective album Magnificent Bird, backed by Present Music musicians. The work chronicles the final month of a year the composer spent off the internet. Shuttling between the quotidian mundane and a series of overlapping global crises, he sings of grief, nostalgia, shame, and salvation: a portrait of daily life in the roiling chaos of the 21st century. |
